James J. Herring
Director, High End Power Systems, IBM Systems and Technology Group
 
Jim Herring is Director of High End Power Systems. Jim has held numerous development and management positions at IBM Rochester since 1981, and was part of the original Silverlake (AS/400) development team. Since then, he has worked on everything from Local Area Networks to technical and business strategy for AS/400 and iSeries. He most recently was responsible for the development and launch of the System i product line in 2007.
